A couple of avid marine weather enthusiasts asked if we could have a forum for weather and forecasting, and I think that's a great idea.
Given the severity of the weather over the past few years and critical relationship between weather and sailors, it just makes sense. Particularly this week.
It's open now, called Weather and Forecasting.
In a few days we'll also have a companion page that will provide 4-day NOAA marine weather forecasts for a variety of cities and coordinates. I recognize everyone has their favorite weather app these days but figured it might contribute to discussions to have some data at hand. I will let you know when that component is online, but the forum is open now.
