My girlfriend and I are working on a Venture 222. I've posted a few pictures and inquired about the keel in a previous post. However, I have a quick question about the interior paint that we are now scraping and sanding. Though we do wear glasses and masks (most of the time), my girlfriend ask the question the other day, "Is this paint lead based?" We are pretty sure the boat is pre-1973 as we can not find a hull number anywhere and it obviously has a fiberglass laminated keel. Any insight would be appreciated.
