I cannot locate the specific item on the forum but one H 26 owner advised repairing the tank lid on a H 26 water ballast lid that had separated from the hull. As advised the tank lid is laid in 5200 and let to stand to cure and then the edge is glassed over.

I have never been a fan of boats sitting on mud, silt, sand and so on for fear of rocks, debri of any kind, silt and so on that could hurt the integritity of the boat. In that case check the area where this will happen in low tide or in a few cases where the water goes out completely.

In addition if you find the boat on the trailer with the centerboard jammed into the centerboard trunk housing, the bunk boards need to be raised. What I fear is the center board is being jammed into the top of the trunk housing and this could be a cause to the tank lid in some way being damaged or the seal breaking away. I do not know but wanted to advise you of such.
