Hunter 29.5 wood blocks under Yanmar

The boat I am looking at has wood blocks under the Yanmar. Is this a common fix for something? I am thinking loose or broken engine mounts. Is this common among the fleet?
Assuming the mounts are the problem, is this a difficult repair?

Have you got a pic? The 29.5 has wood supports covered in fiberglass the mounts sit on. maybe the originals rotted out and had to be replaced and not recovered in fiberglass. Just guessing

No wood blocks on mine unless like Dave said.
