Hey skippers, curious to know how you stow your hatchboards. All comments much appreciated!

I stow mine under the cushion in the quarter berth when cruising. For day sails, they are on top of the quarter berth.

board bag

Hey skippers, curious to know how you stow your hatchboards. All comments much appreciated!
My 309 (#174, which I purchased used) came with a cloth bag attached just inside the port lazarette (see photo). Velcro closures snug everything up. It's reasonably convenient and saves you the trouble of carrying the boards anywhere.

Thanks for the replies. My 309 (#105, '07) also has the cloth bag inside the port lazarette. I've been using it as a stowage area for dock lines and fender straps. From the looks of it, seems that bag was meant for the hatchboards.

We have the same Hatchboard holder on our boat that is hung in the aft berth from the bulkhead at the rear of the engine compartment.
We USE it as a hatchboard holder and we have the Zarcor doors for when not using Hatchboards.
