I have a Hunter 376 Fresh Water Sender that has failed, and on access hole. Does anyone have the mesurment for a access hole to replace the sender unit?

In my H376 the gauge comprised a float that slid up and down on a vertical plastic tube. Inside were magnetically biassed microswitches.
Water sloshing about inside the tank when bashing to windward broke the tube off.
At great trouble I repaired it but it only broke again.
THEN I DISCOVERED THAT WEMA MADE A STAINLESS STEEL VERSION.
It looks pretty bombproof and has been in the vtank about 5 years now with no further problems.
I had a float type sending unit in our fuel tank. It was a P.I.A. to remove the inspection hatch in the lazarette to check our fuel level. I installed one of these WEMA floats (electric) with a gauge. It has been in the fuel tank for about 3 years and works great.
sailboatowners.com offers a solid state sender to replace existing float sender. No need to access inside of tank, all mounted externally using existing hardware. Search store site for "sender".
