Flashing light?

We were leaving the slip with the engine running.
Noticed a round cap like thing on the starboard deck aft near the rear cleat on my 33’.
There was a Red light flashing. Can’t find any info on it in the manual.
Any ideas?

It could be your GPS antenna. Some of them have a light that gives you the status of the unit. I know that some of the Raymarine antennas have that feature. The flashing red light would mean that the unit is in boot code, either being upgraded or unable to boot.
