Thanks to pleasurable feedback from a previous thread on the Cherubini Owners forum, this has suddenly become my favorite sailing pic, thought I'd share it here as well.

Fav pic of the year. And I'm not doing a damn thing to make the boat go.
Been there...done that...hands free, 2 crew in the dinghy doing yacht shots. Neither as lovely as your relaxed crew. Nice photo JD!!! Tough to improve upon. Heading back to Roadtown, Tortola, BVI, Feb., 2015.

Terry. Great image. Only sailing on the Genoa. Your Belle point and sail better without the main?

Hi John, thanks. Great trip. During our trip, I found that our boat with just the genoa would keep up with our boating buddy who had both sails up on his Pacific Seacraft Crealock 34. We tended to stay close in our legs rather than playing catch up. Belle-Vie does better with both sails up; pointing, SOG, etc., but also does nicely with just the 150 Genoa.

The other reason for just the Genoa was I had a small tear in the main where the Dutchman filament enters the sail cloth. I have since had it repaired and reinforced, but during the cruise I wanted to prevent further damage.
