Hello,
I recently had the misfortune some local hornets deciding to build larvae nests in the drainage channels of my hatch. The result was that when we had some recent heavy rain the channels could not function resulting in water pouring onto the cabin countertop and the settee. To properly clean up the channel I'd like to take the hatch right off temporarily. I can't see how this can be done. Am I missing something? Can it be done?
Cheers
Kevin

Drill out the teak plugs to access screws. Try to save them whole if possible for reuse or buy new ones. Most of the time they will spit or come apart requiring new teak plugs. Removing one side is sufficient. BTW, get yourself some wasp/hornets spray and after fixing your drain holes spray on a coating of the stuff to repel those guys. They are known to nest in that space.

Good luck
