Cabin Trunk Re-core

Hi, all, this spring I need to re-core a portion of the cabin trunk on my 1980 Oday 28. Can someone tell me what thickness of end-core balsa to use? Thanks everyone.

I think it might be helpful to call Rudy Nickerson at D & R Marine in Asonet, Massachuesetts...he was with O'Day for

On my 1976 Oday 25 the cabin top was 1/2" thick. 1/8" glass and 3/8" core.

Everything I have re-cored on our 34 has been 1/2".

On our boat, the core was all 1/2".
