We would like to install a new auto pilot for our 2000 Hunter 260. Would appreciate recommendations. Currently have a Navico WP100 but not working properly. Any suggestions.?

I got this on eBay for $100. And then I had to buy the bracket and mounting plate. All in I think I spent less than $200. It works great. My H26 is tiller and the H260s that I've seen have been wheel so this option might not work as well. I have mine mounted to port and the mounting pin can unscrew from the base so that it does not interfere with the boarding ladder. You can also make out the mounting bracket. It sits under the tiller and the pin sits on the bracket.

A tiller pilot would be a good option..... except he stated he was currently using a Navico WP100... which is for wheel steering, I believe.

Although I prefer the Simrad/B&G products, you might want to check out the Raymarine EV100 p70 unit.... I found it here for $1000. Shop around for other deals if you like... or go price match the item at WM if you choose.
