Adding a solar system in phases

Hello All,
I am planning to add a small solar system; a 100 w 6A solar panel with genasun controller this year, but could add an additional 100w next year. Does it make sense to get a bigger controller up front, will two Genasun controllers fight it out if connected to the same bank or will they get along?

While the Genasun controllers are top quality, and extremely fast, today I would suggest a Victron because they are totally programmable and offer Bluetooth. Something like the 75/15 would be a good choice for up to 220W...

I got your dark energy right here. (I was itching to add this to this thread. I was originally going to say something about how cool the solar system is when the sun and moon line up in your own backyard.)
