I RECENTLY PURCHASED A MORGAN 22 WITH NO CENTERBOARD WINCH. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT KIND OF WINCH TO GET, WHERE IT SHOULD BE ATTACHED OR HOW THE LIFTING CORD SHOULD BE ATTACHED. CAN SOMEONE EMAIL ME AN OWNER MANUAL AND CENTERBOARD WINCH DIAGRAM OR HELP ME IN ANY OTHER WAY? ronabdella@gmail.com

The boat was last made in 1971, and only ran 3 years, so it is doubtful you will find anyone with a manual. If it is a centerboard (as opposed to a swing keel) it probably was never fitted with a winch since the board would not be very heavy. Had a winch been used you would likely see where it had been mounted so I am guessing a winch is not needed. First determine what the board is made of. If it is fiberglass/plywood it should not be that heavy. If you need a winch perhaps something is impeding it.
