I use the Ram mount on my Binnacle guard. I find the iPad is limited when used in sunshine.

My suggestion is RAM Mounts too. I was just at a dealer show that they had a rep at. The options are limitless. They have a modular platform that can give you all kinds of different mounting options to work with. It's quality gear.

We started using RAM mounts on our motorcycles to hold the smart phones for maps. So when we needed a mount for the Ipad on the boat, we went with RAM again. The Bimini bow just forward of the helm has a space where the hold down shows the bow. We bought a ball and rail mount for there, an Ipad bracket and a two sided clamp. The ball mount allows us to adjust the view of the Ipad for whoever is behind the wheel. Plus when not in use and in fair weather, we just rotate the Ipad up to the bimini and clamp it there out of the way.
