Has anyone converted the Edson two lever control on a hunter Legend 35.6 to the Lewmar single lever control

Not exactly in my case. I had a Merriman pedestal with two lever engine control. The throttle lever was backwards meaning to accelerate you pulled the lever back. Absurd. Before that I had another boat with two lever control but the shift lever was backwards. Even worse. A few years ago I removed the helm two lever controller and installed a single lever control but I mounted it on the deck within reach of the helm. MUCH BETTER! I would have used the system you are looking at but I did not have room at that location. Once you complete your conversion you will never look back. Two lever control while steering is ridiculous for people with only two hands.
