Three Bridge Fiasco!

We have a strange tradition this time of year here on SF Bay. It’s a 21 mile race in the dead of winter when we have no wind on the bay. Thus, the name. The event is ironically popular. Over 330 boats entered the single or double handed race this year. As promised, we had much fog and very little wind and, at times, no wind. I snapped the photo below as the bay bridge magically appeared out of the fog as we were being swept along sideways by the tide.

I did hear people talking with a New York accent.
I resemble that remark, I started out there. But how did you understand them, it's another language! :)

The Three Bridge Fiasco was always fun, although I never competed, some of my friends did. Always a fun read in Latitude 38, too. www.latitude38.com They usually start on 'Lectronic, then it appears in the magazine, due out Feb. 1st.
