Does anyone have any tips/difficulties replacing M25 rocker cover gasket. Thanks in advance

On cars I’d seal the cork gasket to the cover and leave the other side raw. Don’t over tighten the cover.

When I replaced mine I used no goop. If you do, use permatex non hardening- don’t know the product no.

Thanks for replies guys, I have already got the gasket from the local Kubota dealer. Was just after any tips on doing the job, particularly any goo needed. Also are there any issues with the decompression setup. BTW the motor is a M25XP, doubt that matters much. The gasket I got is a rubber O ring type, hope its the right one.

The valve cover gasket for the M25 is a different pn than the m25XPB

They are built on different blocks.

Neoprene is the correct gasket. On those I never use goop unless it’s a difficult location like where I need to hold it to a part while installing.

Agree with @weekendrken no permitex #2 or RTV on those type gasket.

XP and XPA were same as M25... the XPB was rhe oddball
