Mark is usually pretty thorough in his findings. We usually go to the other marina. Store, pub, liquor store. Boats aren't stacked in so tight..

It was, I recall, only early last year that the place got sold. It would appear that the new owners have a smaller repertoire.

Oceanside harbor used to have a place that delivered pizza by rubber boat, only ordered it once 'cause the pizza was less memorable than the delivery.

Just picked up a very nice red heavy duty Rubbermaid brand two gallon bucket with a handle at Walmart to replace our 15 year old green plastic wash down bucket that developed a crack in the bottom. Things just do not seem to last these days. :laugh:

Rubbermaid makes a good "production" bucket for coastal use but you really need a brass bucket for bluewater sailing.

Hmm. Lots of plastic production buckets holding up quite well after years of blue water sailing including circumnavigating. I've never seen a brass one before, which I think would be unsuitable for a wash down bucket, IMHO.

Gee, wouldn't it be swell to live in a place where I could just hop in the car and drive to a place where I could buy a Rubbermaid bucket?
