The newest African Tropical Wave is approaching the southern Caribbean and should be near Puerto Rico about Tuesday the 6th.

So far, not much circulation and is gratefully fast moving over average temperature waters.
I appears that it will take a more westerly course over the next 5 days.

We will know more about the course after a Low pressure front passes Florida on Tuesday.
Jim...

PS: Keeping our fingers crossed for @capta who is in the probable path.

There is a High Pressure front moving SW toward Florida now. This should push 92L farther south. This tropical wave is not organizing and moving westward about ≈25 mph. The waters, in its path, are average temperatures.
The Bad news...
After that High Pressure passes on about Wednesday late, 92L will be pulled into the low pressure trough that follows. That means it could be drawn into the Gulf and intensify on Thursday. The earliest 92L could impact USA is on the weekend of the 10th.
_______
Watch 92L. The News will kick in on Wednesday as it steadies on course then.
Jim...

PS: TS Newton in the Mexican Pacific is on course to provide needed rain to the arid South West USA. That much rain usually causes flash flood there.
