I own and sail a 1969 Morgan 33. The 33 has a rudder like appendage in the aft portion of the keel called a trim tab. It is found on the old schematics for this boat, this is not an added feature meant for an autopilot of vane. I am searching for someone that can help me find how the trim tab should be rigged for use. I'd also like to hear from someone that is sailing with it and hear your opinion of what is it value. I've been told that is used to bring the boat higher when reaching... Would love to hear from those that know. Thanks in advance for any responses!
