Catalina 18 overhaul

Hi All. I recently purchased an 1999 Catalina 18 which has not been in the water in 8 Years. It had a solar panel attached the the hatch. The wiring behind the switch panel is a birds nest. If someone has a pic of what it’s supposed to look like that would be great. Also there is a panel under the step to below. It has a handle but I can not get it open.
