broken Luff Extrusion on Cat 22

The luff extrusion on my CDI furler cracked. I called CDI and other dealers and CDI has discontinued making the furler (model FF2) recommended for the CAT 22. Some dealers are offering the FF4 ( for 25-30" boats). Any issues with installing a larger flexible furler on my CAT 22? Other recommendations?
