Yanmar parts cross reference

Has anyone been able to find any kind of a cross reference between Yanmar marine engines and Yanmar tractor engines. From what I have found, the tractor engines use different model designations, apparently according the the HP. Part numbers seem to be a different form also. I found what I think is the same HP engine as what I have, and the injector looked exactly the same, but the part # was totally different. The price for a new tractor injector was less than the cost of rebuilding the marine injectors.

Phil if you have a friendly(warm contact) John Deer dealer some times they can help you find some parts or there is a outfit in texas that may be able to help as well i think its call Holt tractor parts and you may be able to go Williams diesel service in Shavannah and get some results they have been helpful to me on ocasion.....hope this helps ...oh 1 more thing try a fellow in jackson tenn named Endrows on e bay he is a good sort to ......
