With new format of site, what size of photo file can be uploaded?

I have tried uploading a couple of photos, but the popup box says they are too large to be processed... but it does not give a suggestion of what size they should be sized to so that they can be uploaded.... Thanks

That depends on your format. e.g.- .jpg, .bmp, etc..

If you scale them down to 1000-1500 pixels width/height they'll be fine. Also check your resolution. You may be trying to upload print-quality images at 300dpi when all you need is 72dpi. Making that resolution change will make almost anything work here.

FWIW, the limits now are much higher than they used to be.

Folks use different techniques. The easiest I've found for Windows systems is Image Resizer.
