Sounds like mine

The yankee cut jib is the original sail (at least I think it was .... when I bought my 37c, I also had the yankee). You can get the standard I,P,J,E measurements here at the Hunter site. I have never actually measured my sails.

Mine Too

I agree. The Yankee cut was the original jib. (see my pictures in the gallery- Talisman) I use a 150% genoa with much better results. Also an asymetrical spinaker in light air. When it starts to blow we wind the 150 up as the wind speed rises reefing the main for balance. At some point we furl the genoa completely and break out the staysail. So far, I haven't found a reason to use the yankee. Will keep it as a spare.. Ron

Yankee comes w/ a club foot cutter

You boat is a cutter, with a club foot inner forestay, but you have many options, leave it the way she is, add a larger jib, remove the club foot, and add a quick release to the inner forestay, add a 130-150 genny, but the original boat flew a yankee and a inner forestay sail.

Sail Measurements

Most Sail Lofts have the measurements. Schurr Sails in New Orleans had mine when I ordered a new sail.
