Has anyone installed a washdown pump in the anchor locker on their Cat 30?(circa 87') I would like to be able wash the mud off before bring the anchor aboard. There doesn't seem to be anything in the archives... Thanks!

Richard - I installed a washdown pump T off head inlet/sink drain, installed under V berth through access from head. Outlet from pump goes across under V berth, up through back of drawers along starboard upper side of V berth near deck and to a male outlet mounted inside anchor locker. Quick release hose fitting on hose and outlet. Wired with 15 amp? fuse to pressure water circuit on panel. Works great. Did the same install as Tom F. Works great. I did install a dedicated breaker, but otherwise went the same as Tom.
