Vberth hatch weather stripping

The foam type weather stripping on my forward vberth deck hatch is old. Some of it is missing. I checked at West Marine and they have nothing. They said to go to hardware store, but nothing. Has anyone had this issue and what is the solution. Thanks in advance! Scott

I didn't notice if you said what model boat you have. But if it's a 9.2 like mine, the original weatherstrip is a double row of white tubular gasket material. According to the "S2 letter" that's posted in various places on the web, S2 (aka Tiara) has a part number for it. Don't know how old the letter is or whether it's still supported but here's a link:

I will try contacting them. The letter is dated in 1998 some 13 years ago, but its worth a shot. Thanks again.

I have a 8.0 and was able to find it at home depot. It was white half circle by 1/4". Good luck I look every place to find it.
