Trip Info for Naples, Fl to Sarasota Area Waters....

Planning a cruise from Naples,Fl to the Sarasota Area...
I am looking for any suggested anchorages, marinas or other Mac owners in my planed cruising area to chat with about what to see and do that only local knowledge or those who have "done that" could offer. Month of October is the plan...based on "Hurricane Season". Sailing Mac25 with crew of Skipper, Admairl, and First Mate (Papillon) and Swab (Papillon).

In Sarasota there is the Ringaling Mansion, great views of it from the bay. In New Pass, The pass just north of Big Pass is the Mote Marine Aquarium. A lot of top shark research comes from there. If you do sail up to Egmont, on AnnaMaria Island is a resturatne called Fast Eddies "Warm beer, Cold food" that is pretty popular, it's just a short (across the street) walk from the beach (where you can anchor or beach).
