transducer placement on 25

Trying find best place mount tranducer on lancer 25 old one was mounted port side about foot from back keel. Have buy new depth finder or fish finder any ideals

How about the easiest place? Any reasonably flat, level place in the hull below the waterline will work..Sand the mounting spot and clean it with acetone then stick the transducer down with a blob of epoxy glue..No air bubbles under the transducer. "Regular speed" epoxy works better than the 5 minute stuff...
