Any idea on what type of rim is used on a Macgregor 25 trailer. The trailer came with the boat new.I want to have a spare tire and need to find a rim maybe in a junkyard or from a friend. Thanks Randy Kaufhold

Does you wheel match up with any of the ones on the website below? Your axle rating should be on the trailer ID plate - the sum of the wheels should exceed that (2 wheels exceed axle rating). Best guess looks like a 14x6 with 5 on 4.5" bolt circle - but you will have to measure your wheels to be sure. The rims also should be stamped with something like "14x6J", which will allow you to confirm the diameter and width. You will also need to check the backspacing of the wheel that you are buying against the wheels that you have - but this is usually standard for trailer wheels. I can give you a how-to on measuring the wheels if you need it - or a shop that sells trailer wheels should be able to match it up.
