I am excited to finally get a name on the boat and I thought I'd share some pictures. I also recently added a new Bimini and took a few pictures of while we were at anchor.

I know I always enjoy seeing the pictures you guys take so I thought I would post a few of my own.

Boat name explanation

justsomeguy has it right. The name is Icelandic. I pronounce it phonetically and probably insult Icelandic people everywhere. ( Pin-in-ga-ja )

"Peningagja" is the name of one of the water filled gorges or faults that run through Iceland. Glacier water is filtered through the volcanic rock over 30+ years and is very pure and cold ( 39 F). People throw coins into this particular one and its name loosely translates to "Money Gorge."
