The January issue of Pacific Yachting magazine has a review of an $800,000 Bermuda 45 designed by C.W. Paine and built by Boston Boatworks. An inset to the primary photograph of the boat in the article describes the following "feature":"A 'crush zone' made of solid foam in the stern maximizes impact resistance in the event of a rear-end collision."Gee, that's the first thing I'd look for in an $800,000 boat. Go figure.Gary WyngardenS/V Shibumi H335
