Lets see, We purchased Witz in August 08, it had 485 hours on it. We put ~50hr/year, so lets say it had ~550 when I did the big overhaul, Damper Plate, Engine Mounts and Cutlass Bearing, December of 09. We now have just shy of 700, so ~150. So far she's still good and tight, no problems.
Yea, wind thing here is not happening either, but it's August on the Chesse.
Have not really had a chance to shake out my new Rolly Tasker sails. Every time I go out, it T. storms and I have to return almost immediately even after looking at the radar. Boy these storms can develop quickly. So far I have mixed feelings about the sails. The main has no leach line cleat, but otherwise seems well made and rolls up correctly. The 135 clue is cut very high and requires my cars to be most of the way back and also it hitting the top spreader. It has a 1' long pendant at the tack, so I tacked it down directly, this has helped some, but I need more time with it.
PaulJ, How did you know there is not much difference between a CIA mission and the drunk tank? LMAO
Things are going fine here. Not getting much boat time this year due to a confluence of factors. When we do get wind it is 100 degrees out and really humid.
