Spring was so close

I was thinking the same thing about a week ago. And then we got this stationary arctic blast. It''s -8 degrees F this morning. I can't even imagine the added windchill.
Since when is February close to spring ?

It's minus 13 F this morning. That's just not right! I sincerely thought we were easing into Spring. It caught me in the middle of my projects.
On the 13th we Evidently broke a 140 year record with a record min temp of -40.6.It was 81 degrees here today. Just sayin.
Amazing how far south the jet stream has dipped, allowing cold air from the Arctic to go to the south in a wide area.

It's a joke. Get over it.Cold weather is just cold weather, and thus has very little to with climate.
Hot weather, on the other hand, is irrefutable proof of global warming.
Why can't you hayseed hillbillies understand this??
Snow is high enough here that I don't need a ladder to get into the boat. Had to push snow off the tarp this weekend.
