If you have not yet heard, the April 27th 2021 (Edit to say: 2012) Newport Beach to Ensenada MX has changed formats that make it more attractive for many of us.

First, the race headquarters is moved from the Bahia to Hotel Coral which is where the awards will also be. Second, the finish line is also at Coral. Third, the cruising class start is moved to the first start at 1100 hours. Other classes begin starts at noon. Fourth, there will be no pre or post inspections. Fifth, there will be early registration beginning December 1st 2011.

I know I'm going! I think this freshens up the race a bit, addresses some families' concerns about security downtown and provides a place where buses can pick up and drop off from the border.

is great for coral marina, but not for ensenada proper. they depended on the revenue.
