Should I buy a Venture 22

Both my wife and I are interested in purchasing a boat, I have found a early 1980 model Venture 22' by MacGregor, it is clean and well cared for. Is t a better deal than a 5 year older Ericson 23'? Any feed back on how th eMacGregor sails would be appreciated. Also - any idea where I could pick up a manual for this boat?

i'm going to look at a venture 22. did you buy the boat and if so, do you like it?

manual for the 22

we got a manual for our '84 2-22 from macgregorparts.com (havencraft of new england has been a macgregor dealer since 1967 and should have anything you need. by the way did you get it?
