ya'll are so helpful, i can't thank you enough for all the speedy and imformative replys. here is yet another question. what are the dimentions for the mainsail on the oday 23?? the sail swap guy down the road has several 'that otta about do it' but wants the dimentions. i am not even sure what to measure. boy ya'll wern't kiddin when you said that to replace the cushions would be expesive, i am SO gonna sew them myself! unfortunely for me the foam is either missing or smells so bad, replacement is the only option. I'll let ya'll know when I find an outlet for a reasonable cost. has anyone added storage behind the backrest cushions in the 'salon', seems like such a lot of wasted space. i am also considering moving the sink. someone in my boats past life has removed the hanging locker across from the head. looks like a perfect spot for that tiny sink that is pretty much to small to do dishes in anyway. it looks like a pretty easy job and it would freeup a lot of space for extra storage. what do i replace that pile of rust called a stove with, any thoughts?? thanks again for all the great replys, i feel so much better knowing i am not working without a net!!fair winds, susan

Measuring Sails

Go to The Sail Warehouse web site, there is a section on measuring sales:http://www.thesailwarehouse.com/ As far as your modification to the interior, if it's what you want, and you are capable of doing the work, Go For It ! Your stove can be replaced with one of a couple of items, (1) a non pressurized Origo Alcohol Stove, or (2) a Kenyon Butane Stove, or (3) a propane stove (be careful on this choice as propane is heavier than air.) Good luck on your boat Ben Allen Montgomery, AL "Latte Dah" O'Day 26
