Hello Sirius boat owners!
I saw that this thread is for 21/22 Sirius but just in case anyone has experienced a rudder problem could perhaps shed some light on my dilemma.
My rudder post is very loose due to the fiberglass pyramid structure that holds it up in place, just below the quadrant, is cracked and broken.
I've tried to free the bolts holding it in place to drop the rudder but it's not happening. I was thinking if just glassing the broken area to sure it up but I don't know what's inside that structure.. If there's a through hull bearing that should be replaced? Not sure what to do do here.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
