I've never put anti-foul on my prop. Should I? I thought the bronze prop was sufficiently anti-foul....

Not a big issue in freshwater. Maybe a few zebra mussels that get washed off when the prop turns. Saltwater is different issue. Barnacles can attach to the prop and shaft and really mess things up.

Before I was on Champlain I spent many years sailing in ocean water. I don't recall having much of an issue. But there are very different areas of the ocean and perhaps where you are it's needed.

Good to know zinc paint works. Sure is a cheap bottom paint!
