Hello,Lots of places can make you a good wire; I'll just tell you how we'd go about it in our loft.First we'd make sure that the wire size, terminal size and type, and pin size all made sense in terms of the loads the piece will see. As we say, "Don't clone someone else's mistakes."Then we'd get the LOA, including turnbuckle, after making sure that the LOA puts the mast where it is supposed to be.We'd make sure there were no foul leads, and would change configuration or hardware, if necessary, to get a fair lead. Then we'd deduct for an ideal turnbuckle length, unless we determined that the piece didn't require a turnbuckle (bobstay, springstay, maintopmast stay, triatic, etc.).Then we'd deduct for elasticity. Then we'd have piece swaged up, using rotary swages from a machine that is kept in spec, and would dip the wire in sealant before swaging, to preclude water intrusion. And we'd use a type 316 wire that tested to within 5% or so of 302's rated break. Then we'd install and tune the wire. That's rigging; making a replacement wire is just fabricating.Fair leads,Brion Toss
