I was wondering where I would find a list of recognized yacht clubs. I see the term used all the time, but can't find a list of who's included.

That's because the lists are from each club, and
are of other clubs that they recognize. It has to do with reciprocal moorage and stuff like that. It's not like clubs get 'recognized' for some lofty attainment. If there are lists of clubs it's more likely just a database. google away and Merry Christmas.

reciprocal yacht clubs
my yacht club has a book of reciprocal yacht clubs. I don't think it is publicly available but just passed out to all the clubs listed. i am sure if you show up at their door with a membership card of any yacht club you wuld be welcome.
