I too,
would like to wish everyone a very happy holiday season. I know I don't respond
to many of the group's emails, but I enjoy reading it all.

My
Vega, "Erendira" #2947, is home ported in Alameda, California in the San
Francisco Bay, and we sail pretty much year 'round--rain or shine. In fact, I'll
be sailing up the coast next week from Santa Cruz to San Francisco, delivering a
friend's Ericson 27 to Redwood City. I hope we have good weather up the
coast.

Has
anyone ever sailed their boat in Danish waters? I understand that it's beautiful
there.

Merry
Christmas and Happy New Year,
Steve

Hi
Mort,

I was
going through the Classies in Lattitude 38 last night, and saw two Vegas for
sale. I think one was in Half Moon Bay for $11000.00, and the other might have
been located around the East Bay for $6500.00. I think you and I are the only
other active members in the area? I don't know.

Maybe
after the holidays we can do a mini-rendevous on the bay; maybe hook up in Ayala
Cove at Angel Island?

Dear Vega Friends ,

II wish to join Yvonne's by
wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
May you Vega take you to pleasant destinations in
fair winds in the coming season.

Of course, we cannot sail very well in Holland right now,
unless you are a very hardened person.

We are (the Jansen family)are waiting for sufficient snow in the
Alps to go cross country skiing in one of the many villages
there. The last few winters looked more like an extented fall. but
we keep our fingers crossed that this time we will have an old fashioned
winter.

Keep well,
Henk Jansen
Naarden Holland
PS a meeting in British Columbia and or Seatlle would be fine for
us.
Only... we would not bring our own boat.
