Probably going to get more sailing in next week than I usually get in a season. Going to trek out to Couer D'Alene, S/V MaryAnn has a slip for 6 whole days ( quite the luxury for us -- set it and forget it). In the prep week we decided to get proper sail covers and a jib bag-- trying out her new rudder and for the first time in my ownership I can lock the hatch. Not sure who had 63 -- but grateful for the very nice main that will finally get some use:

Nice! I just moved into my first slip for the remainder of the season in Erie PA.
It will really improve my access without having to do all that ramp work. Coming to grips with age

I agree. I won't go out now if it can't be at least an overnight.

I came to that conclusion rather quickly myself. Now I have a dock and access to showers and a real toilet!

The weather looks great up there! Sunny, with warm days and cool nights. The air looks kinda light, what's your biggest headsail?

Indeed-- and thank god the heat wave is breaking -- 105-108 here, but looking good for next week. CDA actually has a pretty consistent thermal due to the surrounding elevation bumping up against the warmer Spokane valley-- a mini San Francisco Bay effect. But my go to is the 150 and full main -- I rarely move off that unless we get something active in a weather front-- I have the 120 and 75 with me just in case.
