ok where can i get the original specs for my 1982 23 oday? there are several things i would like to know including the sail specs the dimentions of the cushions for replacement what the original deck plans for the rigging and lines. etc etc etc. is this booklet available anywhere? what changes have ya'll made for creature comforts? what sail configuration works best ? thanks for the advice!!!

Not much out there

I have a 1979 O'Day 23, and I don't think there is much out there in terms of "original specs." There is someone out there who contributes to this site who has offered to provide a free copy of the "owners manual" that came with the 23. Alternately, Rudy Nickerson at D&R Marine will sell you a photocopy of the manual for a small fee. Sorry, I don't have his contact info with me, but if you search this site, his number will come up frequently. By the way, I use the term "owner's manual" loosely; the few sheets of paper are hardly more than a sales brochure. If you do find a real owner's manual or other factory information, please let us know.
