I attended a workshop on heavy weather sailing at the Chicago Strictly Sail boat show last week. The topic included optimum heal angle for any boats hull design. The concept is to mark your inclinometer so you know when to start putting in reefs. Does any one out there know the optimum angle for a vintage C28? I have only assumed it was 15 - 20 degrees. Our boat's name is the INCIPIENT. She's done well on s. Lake Michigan for us for several years now. But upgrades continue to be added as total restoration is more complete. Thanks........Scott
