O'Day 34 /Adjustable Backstay anyone?

New 34 owner here dreaming of fair weather with plenty of questions! Was wondering whether anyone has added an adjustable backstay to their rig? Was there a noticeable improvement or just marginally so? Your thoughts?

I would want an adjustable backstay on almost any boat I own. If you are trying to work upwind and the headstay is sagging, giving you too much heel, too much sideslip and a lot of frustration, you are going to miss it. I don't know which 34 you have, and working to weather may not be your cup of tea, but the adjustable backstay can be the difference between enjoying an upwind leg or not.
