On my 26D there is a swing down motor bracket. I do not see a manufacturer on it anywhere. What would be the max weight it should support. It has a 1992 Yamaha ft9.9 that has minimal use but seems a good bit on the heavy side.

My bracket came with springs. Did yours? If so, pushing down on the springs should give you a guesstimate of weight capacity. Springs should balance or raise motor.
