More wonders of butyl tape

In the past - I've had the annoying problem of the C22's plywood cover plates, for the bilge & storage areas, being slid or knocked out of place. I've recently had good luck by "setting" them in, with a small amount of butyl tape, for grip, under each corner. It doesn't take much, just a small ball of butyl about the size of a pencil eraser. I'm not sure if anyone else already does this - but I thought I'd post it up, on the odd chance it can be of help to anyone. It's been working great so far-

A small amount on a bolt head keeps it from pushing up when you are trying to start a washer(put a dab on it too) and nut from below. When you get it started then you can put a lock wrench on it and go back up on deck and tighten it all down.
