My O'Day 26 came equipped with special triangular plates on the side stays for ease in stepping the mast. The problem we have no directions on how to use them. Does anyone know how that's done, or where to get directions? Thanks

email me at don.evans@ene.gov.on.ca and provide a fax # and I'll send the Manufacturers diagram on how to set this up. Its a nifty way of using the boom as the leverage arm in lowering/raising the mast. The trangular plates provide a pivot point for the stabilizing lines in line with the boom/mast connection point.
