Thanks to those who responded when I thought the Shrouds were too short on my new 240, unfortunately your suggestions were to no avail as it turns out I have the wrong mast!! The mast is over 6 feet longer than the specs for the Hunter 240 (Dwyer) as a result (of course) the rigging does not fit. Anybody out there have a mast that is 33'7"? I am curious to know what boat this mast belongs on. The up side is that Greg Emerson from Hunter has been first class in customer service and is working hard to solve the problem. Hopefully it means a new rigged mast in short order rather than weeks. Our sail season is very short and our one and only regatta is approaching quickly. Kudos to Hunters customer service!! Raspberries to the guy who put the boat together.

Greg's Great

Greg's a great guy to work with at Hunter... And, believe it or not, he checks out this site whenever possible to hopefully find problems before they arise. I'm sure he'll get you fixed right up and then you can enjoy one of the greatest boats on the water.

Tall Rig

I didn't think Hunter made a "tall rig" for the H240. Maybe you got an H260 mast. Just ask for the rest of it (sails, etc.) and maybe you'll really cook!
